Hey, I’m Daylot, and I’ve been making content for over 7 years now. It all started way back in 4th grade when I picked up a camera and began posting IRL vlogs and random videos just for fun. After reaching 100 subscribers, I hit a creative wall and took a long break from uploading. But the passion never really left.
Eventually, I came back with Minecraft and Rec Room content, and rebranded the channel to Daylot, the name I go by today. I launched the Day SMP, a lore-driven Minecraft server where I produced a full series of connected story videos. It was one of the most creatively fulfilling things I’ve ever done.
After the SMP ended, I slowly shifted focus to another one of my passions: music. I still dropped the occasional gaming video, and at one point rebranded to Onyx, posting a few Fortnite OG videos , one of which (a horror map playthrough with friends) ended up being my best-performing video in a long time.
But eventually, I returned to the Daylot name, complete with a moon logo and a new vision. I posted a deep-dive horror video on My Eyes Deceive, exploring the game’s hidden lore alongside immersive gameplay. That video marked a turning point. I realized what I truly loved creating, content that blends gameplay with psychological horror, analog storytelling, and deeper narrative breakdowns.
Now, Daylot is fully dedicated to horror, whether it's gameplay, ARG deep dives, indie horror analysis, or uncovering the meaning behind eerie digital worlds. I post the kind of content I’d want to watch: mysterious, creepy, thought-provoking, and creative.
Welcome to the archives. Stick around, it only gets darker from here.
